Fresh out of the Spike Sneak Peeks PAX panel comes a very special announcement from Naughty Dog’s Creative Director Amy Hennig — the UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves Fortune Hunter Edition!

Included in this special package is the game, exact in-game replica of the Phurba Dagger Artifact and stand, Collectible Art Book and Collector case autographed by Naughty Dog, plus a host of downloads.

    I stand absolutely no chance at winning this. Every time a contest like this happens, I lose. I don’t think I have won a single beta.

    It’s also saddening to know a lot of people will throw these things on eBay and make a profit for a game they either don’t want or will pay for their regular edition.

    Nonetheless, I will try because I would love to have it. I hope it isn’t something like the quickest responses, though. I hope it is something that even if you aren’t online at the exact moment you still stand a chance.

    I agree with everyone who is mad, it’s true I never buy the limited version of any game but I sure would buy this one, I was about to change my pre-order Naughty Dog or Sony messed up on this one not making extra money.

    Oh my gosh, I’m a true, real uncharted fan (beat the first one three times and got platinum) last year and I have been waiting for uncharted 2 after i finished uncharted 1. If I get this, this would mean the world to me.

    Well I planned to rent this game (I loved Uncharted 1 and waited over a year for it to go Greatest Hits and picked it up this week) but seeing the LE I was thinking of pre-ordering it. That is until I saw it was a contest and thinking “This is probably U.S. ONLY”

    Thanks for confirming it in your comments that only Americans have a shot at winning this. Either way I am looking forward to playing Uncharted 2 when it comes out. The game looks AMAZING!

    This is the greatest collectors edition ever. When I saw that Naughty Dog put out a survey to see what people wanted in the collectors edition I was so excited. Now that I can see it but may never have a chance to own it is quite a bummer. It would pretty much make my lifetime to win this.

    aw man i always miss all the good stuff because i live in Europe, though i must say its a very nice idea to give it away like this. some might say that now the person with the most time or luck might win but otherwise its the person with the most money to spend on some extra content, and i prefer this

    I think they should sell the LE. And give away the 200 autographed copies as the prize. Don’t know if there would still be time produce them for sale or not but that would seem like a win-win to me. I would buy it in a heartbeat.

    I see from the comments that this has annoyed more people than it has excited.

    I would love to get a hold of one of these, but I am very disappointed that I won’t be able to. I live in the UK and the odds of me winning even if I were in the USA would still be slim to none.

    It’s also quite clear that probably half the people who win will just ebay it for ridiculous amounts of money and make a tidy profit off the limited availability of these. If they were readily available in shops, it wouldn’t happen and no one would be left out or disappointed.

    I don’t feel that mass produced ‘limited editions’ aren’t special. Just because a lot of people can buy them doesn’t cheapen the extras/special casing at all for me.

    I would love to get my hands on this. I have the normal edition on pre-order, but I would cancel it in a heart beat if this Fortune Hunter edition went up for sale.

    Even though I don’t like contests for such things, but I would have made an exception in this case…but why make it exclusive to US only? why? why? O why?

    We fans outside eventually turn to ebay for such things, but those sellers charge an arm and a leg for these which is down right dirty. This is not fair of you naughty dog or Sony or whoever thought this off at least the part about restricted to U.S.
