Hidden amongst the madness of the Comic-Con 2009 show floor was a gem. Castle Crashers, a game that some hoped would eventually come to PS3, is finally headed our way. If you’re unfamiliar, it’s a really clever downloadable co-op action game that utilizes some cool RPG elements for great results. And it was officially announced for PSN at Comic-Con.
We cornered the kind folks at The Behemoth for a little back and forth, so take a look at the video to find out why you need to keep your eye out for Castle Crashers. And get to know these guys because they promised to come back on the Blog when they have even more to talk about.

I’ll assume for the PSN launch that w/e online problems that launched with the other version will have been ironed out for the PS3 release.

If this game do not have a ton of extra content on the PS3 version, then no buy. Oh and it must support in-game music.
To be honest it looks kind of cheap but still looks like it could be a lot of fun. I might get it still though.
i have this for the 360, awesome game. glad other ps3 owners get a chance to play it.
I have it on the 360, its a great game. I just hope it doesn’t launch with the same problems the 360 version has.

so when exactly are we gonna be getting the fat princess interview we were all primised last week. you know you did say it was coming this week. and since you dont do any good posts on the weekend today is the last day you can do it….BUT WHEN! come on we havnt heard any fat princess in a long @s$ time and we want to know a release date!
Yes, I believe the interview will run on Monday (or early next week). We just didn\’t have to time to get it out this week with the madness of Comic-Con. But it\’s worth the wait!

Sweet. It reminds of this game about a princess or something that ate food and had fun online play. I swore it was a game, but it must have been my imagination. Anyway, this should take the place of it just fine, I’ve heard so much about it.
This is awesome news, I always thought Castle Crashers looked like a great game, so I’m super excited that it’s coming to a system I own.

I’m surprised only a couple people are worried about receiving a year-old exact port. If there’s a year’s lag between us, I’d like to see something extra coming when the framerate picks up (figuratively speaking).
