Can you tell me if or when Seth Luisi will be fired so that Socom can be Socom again.The nightly numbers from the last 3 games show that the harder he tries to make the game for the broader audience,the more he loses sales on the game.
If he let the devs make it like the first 2 he’d probably be clearing over 2 million sold copies like the first 2 even if not more.Better to make the same sales as the first 2 then make less then half the sales on the “broader audience” versions of the game.

You should be ashamed of yourself for such a rude response. If you actually had a clue as to what the SOCOM community has been through since the launch of SOCOM Confrontation, your comment, at the very least, might have been a little more compassionate.
Your post only solidifies what we already knew. Sony is so out of touch with the SOCOM community that it should be an embarrassment to your company and it’s insult to the SOCOM fans.
Is this also “Good to know”? Get out of here with that! Very unprofessional, but on par with what we have received over the last 9-10 months. At least Sony is consistent.

Give me a break… you want to ruin your best franchise… fine, but don’t be surprised if many loyal Sony fans move on to other consoles. tired of the delay for the socom patched and dlc. bought a ps 3 to play “the best online shooter ever”. still no dlc or clan ladders after 8-9 months. just got to send my ps3 in for repairs too. 6 months outside of warranty. awesome.

The mods are going haywire on the socom forums… every other thread is either locked or getting deleted. Now, why do you think this is? It is only a matter of time before the socom community snaps. Looks like quite a few already have… lol… wow.
That should tell Sony a lot about the game and franchise… If fans get this upset, then something must be VERY wrong! It’s time something is done about this.
Well, I am quite satisfied with the apology, and it is understandable to let things slip out and seem completely different than what you meant.. but.. seriously.. we have to let our voice be heard.. we are one of the biggest gaming communities sony has.. and why would they get rid of us.. I mean.. if Sony really wants to get back into the VCR business.. I hear there is a calling for USED VCR Departments all over the country.. woot..

Want to win us over? Break the freeze on information for us. We want to know what is up with Patch 1.50 and more than vague DLC information, that’s all we want. I don’t know that all of these SOCOM fans are way out of line here. Your response came off awfully sarcastic and unprofessional, and I feel like you should consider a much more visible apology than the one you made on this post.
For the record, I sold SOCOM: Confrontation days after I bought it. I kept the headset, but the game was totally boned, and I’m not paying money to be a beta tester.
One thing can be sure, Sony and /6 have helped to destroy the future sales of any upcoming SOCOM games by the total lack of support for one of their biggest online franchises ever. A complete phone-in that still doesn’t include things advertised on the box. No wonder people were/are filing a lawsuit.

@91 – We just asked Chris to TRY and get ANY info about the patch that was in Q&A 3 MONTHS ago and still isn’t out. /6 doesn’t give us ANY info so we asked this guy…. his is reply like it or not wasn’t professional or even fluff. This is a big deal because less people play this game everyday, and it’s online only.
HOnestly after being replied to in such a manner, yes after reading your lackluster excuse, I think I should not have to Pay for any DLC for Confrontation ever. That was very insulting of you to say that. I take pride in the Socom Community of which I am an active member. I am an officer in my Clan (NDC) because people respect me and my choices. Seriously, I want you to call up Mr. Luisi and ask him to answer the phone or at least return my next phone call about the whole patch update. Heck it was Me who alerted them to the fact that their Beta Codes weren’t out in stores, thus delaying their Beta for a week. Don’t Believe me, Call em up for once. Heck I had better luck with actually calling Zipper in the past and get an answer from one of their reps. MAG should have been put aside till 2013….
Haven’t touched Socom in months, yet I still hold some hope that there will be a 4th installment and that it will be better made than that $60 BETA. Many Socomers are in the same boat and Sony should pay attention.
To make up for that ill-worded response, ask some of the right people about a possible Socom 4. It would be appreciated. All we need is a Yes, something is in the works or a No, nothing is in development.
