    I can’t wait till E3 so sony can show people they are still #1. Also sony why did you not just add another analog its really not that difficult. Unless you still want too keep that outdated PSP. The problem here is that 1.no dual analog sticks 2.probably can’t do better graphics. 3.Cost to much for what you are getting. So you see where I am getting at. Just go to the PSP threads and poepl are outraged. Big mistake sony big mistake. I call that this is sony’s only console failure.

    Too bad the new PSP doesn’t have a touch screen. Without a touch screen Sony can forget about competing with the iPhone nor the DSi.

    Iknow one thing for certain, older model psp’s at pawn shop and second hand game shops the world over just dropped in price dramatically. Heck I know a place where they will be going for $50 ea. I sure hope there is a micro usb port for transferring music and what not. (GPS and GO!Cam I own already)

    Any news on Trash Panic? As in, where is it?

    The PSP Go’s controls don’t look any closer together than the controls on the Sixaxis/Dualshock… it’s more an issue of how it will feel in your hands. I will admit that, without a touchscreen, I don’t see the point of the sliding controls, other than that sliders are awesome, or something. But clearly Sony isn’t ready to actually evolve this platform yet, so they keep producing still more form factor variations of the same rather dated platform. Whee.

    Ya tell me about it, I’m a PSP1001 user and was thinking about moving up to a 2001 or a 3001. If I can get a good condition used 3001 for cheap well more power to me.

    Then again the reverse can be true. Something Koller said will probably scare a few people out of buying a PSP Go! Some games that are available may not be available to both units. Since the PSP GO! is just a PSP without a UMD drive the only possibility is that the PSP Go! users are the ones getting shafted. Nothing my PSP 1001 can’t do and I even have a 16 gig stick so storage is not much of an issue for me.

    Only other exception is the Bluetooth, but I kind of doubt that it will be used in any capacity that would destroy compatibility.

    Majorly unhappy about the PSP Go deal, all the UMD’s I have along with all the support i’ve given and this is what I get in return? Figures.

    My Top 3 things I wish Sony would announce:

    -Cross Game Voice Chat
    -PS2 BC
    -PS3 Price Drop (to start selling consoles again)

    Also: They wanna make money with PSN? Then where are games like Chrono Cross, and Final Fantasy VII???

    Also: How about fixing the PS3 web browser so it actually works functionally. All that processing power and it blows and locks up all the time. WebKit baesd one please.

    ITS NOT A NEW PSP. It’s a new spin on the existing PSP. The PSP 2 is coming, but not for another year or two. STOP CRYING ABOUT THE F’NG ANALOG STICK.

    Also, I don’t understand how it could be considered ugly, as it’s pretty straightforward and just plain normal looking.

    You people are sheep, afraid of what your friends on Kotaku will think of you if you actually *gasp* think before you make snap judgements about something you haven’t seen or even held in real life yet.

    I gotta say that the PSP Go is one of the ugliest Sony gadgets I’ve ever laid my eyes on… I mean, seriously WTF?!?! And look at the freakin design… It just SCREAMS second analog stick, not effing start and select dammit!

    I was really looking forward to it, but I just don’t know anymore. If there is a way to convert your existing UMD games so you can use them on the Go, then I might think about it. Otherwise its an EPIC FAIL!

    Socom’s still a mess…Sony are you ever going to step in and get there act together ? A flagship/system selling series and it’s still a incomplete bust.

    As for as the PSP GO I think I’ll pass. I still have a launch model and since this new one doesn’t(APPEAR)to have a second analog stick I don’t see it worth given up my oldy for.

    I think I will buy the PSP Go, but a touch screen will increase the chance of me getting one. They have confirmed that the PSP Go will have Bluetooth technology, so I hope it is PS3 controller compatable. If so, that would be awesome.

    touch screens are for phones, not consoles.
    especially the ds with it’s crappy styles blows chunks!
    most people don’t have the time to hold it and pencil away without scratching it.

    the ipod touch is much much better than the Nintendo DS, but for the most important games it’s not perfect either (especially not in online games)

    i also bought an xbox360 recently (don’t worry sony, i am planning to buy an extra PS3 to balance the dark-side ;)
    i just wanted to know what the experience was like, and i must say sony is a much better experience video streaming from media server just works on the PS3, and so do my USB memory sticks.
    on the xbox360 video streaming sucks, and zero USB memory cards support writing to it (and thus pointless)

    also online gaming, is much better on the PS3 on the xbox360 it’s a broken-down mess, certain games have free online 80% don’t (and you need to cough up 55euro’s to use it 3 hours a month per year (i only really play 1 or 2 hours online a month).
    the only thing i want from sony is to allow us to store the entire game on the HDD, and have other payment options (online payments paypal/iDeal/Click&Buy)like iTunes from Apple.

    overall the PS3 is much easier to use, and it’s idiot proof which the xbox360 is not (as was the case with Twonky streaming, not directly working as the PS3 did)
