I hate to state this but am still having a issue with the PS Store (8071053D) is the error code I get. Figures when R&C Quest for booty final comes down in price the store craps out on me ;).

Yes I just checked the Forum where a guy says he called sony and they said they are bogged down because of the COD 5 map pack. it must have caused a big crash or something or these weird happenings are just after effects of high traffic. either way it sux. I dont even want that myself.
I think this a good update…i think they have good updates weekly, although psp does get a little shadowed…but mayne if I was Jeff or any person in public relations dealing with the cry babies on these forums…i’d just have to lock the comment box haha…

As much as I want to get mad I think of how I dont have to pay for a Playstation “Live” acount just to have online services and DLC. But you would think SOny would have a # of poeple with COD5 and then make preparations for the opening day and then cut back the network once the hulabaloo wears off.

Funny I started Red Alert 2/UT3 pack downloads and went to buy the Killzone 2 pack and it started to screw up.
And has been that way (despite letting me finish my download of RA2 and UT3) for a few hours now.
Do you not want my money, Sony? Because if that’s the case that’s cool with me.
Please fix the store!!! Or announce that it is unstable, so people like me won’t freak out about their system glitching.

Jeff, if you’re reading this, can you let us know if SCEA has any plans to release more Japanese games, like Catan and Gomibako and the upcoming Spelunker HD, in North America? It would be a shame if more games suffer the same fate of Dark Mist. Nobi Nobi Boy sold pretty well, being the number 2 seller on PSN in February, and I just don’t believe there’s any excuse to not localize downloadable games when the costs are so minimal, even for a niche title.

For those threatening to go to M$ you are crazy. The Xbox Live Marketplace goes down every time there a CoD or Halo DLC release or any other big DLC release. That is a paid service also, so considering that this has alot of huge DLC that respective communities are waiting for (CoD, UT3, LBP, etc), just be patient and the over abundance of people trying to download and the store will be up soon enough for everyone.

My PS3 is hooked up with a wire(CAT6 to be exact) and is hooked up to a cable modem with 15MB DL speed. Since the ps3’s launch I’ve noticed that PS store downloads would not take full advantage of my network speed(which is 1-1.5mb’s+, I get this on PC and 360) except in a blue moon I would get 1mb’s+. Downloading big files like demos, Qore or even Gran turismo’s GT-TV take up to 2 hours because I do them the same day they come out and get scre… with slow DL speeds.
I personally think that early morning PS store updates and daily updates would even things out but if not then optimizing/upgrading or expanding the PSN servers would be the back up plan.
Example of how random the DL speeds are.
Today I downloaded the Midnight club LA DLC map(1.5GB) and was getting around 100kb’s.
I gave up and turned off my PS3 then turned it on again about 20 mins later and got around 500kb’s on my midnight club LA dlc but now with this video I’m downloading I’m getting ~100kb’s again.
If my update broke our server in production at work, I’d get fired…

Hey guys i recently changed my router settings.I enabled DMZ host and disabled Static Nat. Now i’m getting this error message when trying to access the ps store .Anybody knows what’s better DMZ or Static Nat?

Hey, out of curiosity, how much do you guys know about future releases from OTHER companies regarding the Playstation Store?
Specifically I’d like to know if a JRPG called Xenogears which was released last year by Square-Enix on the Japanese store will ever make its way over here.
Really loved this game “back in the day” and it would be cool to have a digital copy of it on my PS3’s harddrive.
