  • Is the psp-290 still coming to the states? last i heard it was supposed to be out around the end of last year. I’ve searched all over the place on the web and have not found any reference to its release. any info on this would be cool. Been kinda holding off on getting one for the sake of doing it through the psp. but if it ain’t coming anymore I’d like to know.

  • It’s a bit sad that USA got Patapon 1 for like one third of the European price, and now Killzone is at 16$ while we get it at 20€ (25$)… No Gravity is overpriced as well!

(Well, at least there are updates…!)

You could always make it up for us by actually uploading Patapon2 and Resistance to the store on the release date :)

Plus, allowing registration of the UMDs we have that are already on the store so we could download and not use the disc would be a great thing. Would certainly quiet those rumor boys that are panicking over the next PSP iteration :)

  • Wow, great update, free baseball themes doesn’t get much better. Now if only I could get my hands on some money…..

  • Thank you for the demo of PSN games. I said it before, there is no way to judge the gameplay for yourself from a Video. Demo’s. I know the games are small, and also from a small developer, so the tasking to get one could be a very large project. But the demo sells it to me 90% of the time.

LBP. I didn’t catch this, did I miss something?

  • AMAZING UPDATE….. now if only this amount of content lasted every week :(

  • Oh yeah, Watchmen!

You scrubs who don’t spend money on the store need to relax and quit complaining.

  • Seriously, where is the Legends of Wrestlemania demo? IGN’s Greg Miller said it would be available on the PS Store this week. THQ says it is now available. But it is not. I hope Sony isn’t holding back content just so it can be released some other week where there aren’t as many demos. I’m tired of always having to wait to until after the “other” console gets the demos. I know it isn’t always within Sony’s control, but in this case, it looks like it is.

    While I’m at it, I have a few suggestions…

    1. Crash Commando demo. I’m not buying it until I can try it.

    2. Can we get a Liberation game for PSN? I love it on PSP but a HD version with triophies and online play for $10-$20 would be epic.

  • Can we please get the songs for Karaoke Revolution Presents American Idol Encore 2 that the other system got, particularly “Smooth Criminal”? I really hope all fifteen or whatever of those songs they got and we did not get are coming in a big addition next week. I like how you go to the Store and the Hard Rock section is blank for us… :(

  • Where is the UT3 Update….I’d be lying if i said I wasn’t very disappointed. Snif.

  • Great update!

  • (This post ONLY refers to the “PlayStation Store for PSP” update. Since I don’t own a PS3, I won’t comment on that system’s PS Store updates.)

This week’s PSP update seems to be pretty big. However, I’m not interested in Killzone, baseball, or Winter Dew Tours, so I’ll just settle for playing my current PSP games. Thanks for the update nonetheless.

  • Nice update. I really want some Motorstorm DLC though. I only have $12 in my wallet, and can’t afford anymore right now. And I’m not spending that on anything but Motorstorm DLC, well, unless MK vs DC DLC came out first, but I don’t think that’s ever coming.

    @ #4

OMG man! The UT3 update came out yesterday for trophies and split screen. Why do so many PS3 gamers not understand that game updates happen when you start the game? They don’t come up on the PSN Store. The Titan Pack expansion, (which was delayed for a couple weeks) might end up on the Store, but that’s an expansion, not just an update. Rediculous.

There’s no possible way, that this guy hasn’t had to update any games yet to know updates happen when you boot up the game. Even UT3 itself already had an update, which if this guy really played the game, he’d already had to have done.

Gamers now-a-days have absolutely no ability to figure things out themselves. They’ve become overly dependant on someone on the internet explaining every little thing to them. Even if they already know how to do it. Sad.

  • Another great update. :-)

  • I would’ve bought Watchmen if my system wasn’t broken. Not enough room for it on the other system but played the trial there and liked it.

Time to look for local fixes I guess since Sony support isn’t supportive at all…again.

  • solid update guys! 5 lil red boxes from me. thanks for all the Watchmen stuff it has def put me in the mood. im gonna go watch the motion graphic novel now.

    peace,
    Lh

  • Ahhh, well, ,y UT3 comment/rant obviously goes for Mr. 109 too. Game updates happen when you boot up a game. It’s only been this way since the PS2 days, and it’s the same way for every console, or PC game ever made that got an update. What is you people’s excuse for being so ignorant?

Also the Legends of WrestleMania demo came out on the UK PSN. If you have a UK account, go there and download it. I personally waited to do this, hoping the demo would be on the US store this week too, but it’s not, so I’m going to the UK store right now to DL it.

  • When the UT3 Titan Patch goes live you guys should have someone from Epic blog about it here.

  • When will the march episode of Qore be released.

  • Where is the Legends of Wrestlemania, THQ said it’s out today??

  • Agreed. An Epic rep to chat about the UT3 update would be nice. Get some attention for the game. Everyone should buy it at this point since it’s $20 brand new at retail. Aside from Killzone 2, UT3 (with the tropy and split screen update) is the best FPS on PS3. But also the most under-rated. The Titan pack will make it even better when it launches.

  • Ok where is the BLEEPIN Legends Of Wrestlemania demo. You guys in the US just held the game back either cause of lack of demos next week or you guys got tired and decided we’ll just let those sorry wrestling fans wait another week. So wrong Jeff so wrong.

  • Gran Turismo & Gran Turismo 2 where are you!?
Anyway Killzone Liberation was a much needed addition and the PS3 update’s nice. 3 demos! Can’t wait to try them out!

  • TheInfectedBy590

Guys what happened with the UT3 patch that coming out today? Just say YES! Stop going over the paperwork :p it’s easier just to shred it.
At least just give us the patch sometime soon, I can patiently wait for the Titan Pack. :)

  • Nice update, any news on the Valkyria Chronicles DLC?

  • Not bad. Thanks SONY!

  • the wrestlemania demo was supposed to hit today… i got it on the EU store though

  • ehhh aside from the wanted demo and maybe the watchmen demo its pretty normal to me…

nice that we got the epilogue for PoP

grace whats the word on the agency and free realms betas?? can we get any sort of update on them because I put in emails for them a good 7-8 months ago

  • ILOVEPLASTATION3

More CLASSICS! ;) Good update though, just bought some of the toys for burnout. I actually was skeptical about it, but thought Criterion deserved my money very much for what they’ve been doing. Can’t wait for upcoming updates for the store and the ps3! :)

  • Enough with the stupid ANIME themes, are there seriously that many guys in the world lthat like staring at cartoon girls, this is getting ridiculous… change it up please!!

  • tried out teh new RE 5 space. dosent seem interesting.

  • i dont see why they charge for themes.. i never stare at my xmb long enough to get annoy’d by the color..im always in a game or watchin somethin or listening to music

  • new york dont get love on the theme no yankees best franchise in the world and didt sony have a contact with the new stadiom

  • darn, still no wheel of fortune. Hopefully it’ll be available next week. I only bought the PoP Epilogue

  • Anybody know when Fat Princess is coming out?

  • @50.
    Fail zone?
    Seriously?
    [Deleted] off.

  • @125.
It was delayed for 2 weeks.

  • UT3 Patch comes out Mar 19th. Something about the certification process taking longer than usual

  • @112

I hate to spoil your rant, but #4 isn’t the one who can’t figure things out himself. You said it yourself that he should know the update is automatic when starting the game. Apparently your own logic isn’t enough for you to consider anything aside from you “he’s stupid” theory. I put in the disc today. Guess what? No update. No trophies added to my trophy list and no splitscreen option anywhere in the game menu.

Maybe you should try a little research of your own before assuming others are just ignorant, otherwise you are the one that just ends up looking stupid. And that’s just sad.

  • Really? That’s why myself, and my friends who all have UT3, all have the patch right? Makes perfect sense to me. I guess WE are the only ones.

  • Like I said. Do a little research. Try Joystiq. There are several people who aren’t getting the patch.

  • Holy Crap! Watchmen DL is slow as hell. It’s a big turn-off that ppl who buy the game flat out have to que with all the cheapskates going for the demo. You guys should support those of us that support you. Give full game versions a seperate DL, this waiting stuff is for the birds IMO.

  • Would like PSone releases.

  • What’s the story with Puzzle Quest Galactrix? When’s that supposed to come out?

  • Has anyone had any problems with the Watchmen demo? I can’t play it. For some mystical reason it has the audacity to tell me I don’t have 12 MB to play the game, which last I check a 500GB HDD with over 320GB left is not lacking.

  • Whatever happened to that one game…oh yea…SOCOM!!! dlc!?

  • I love Burnout Paradise. I have 102% completion, 101% bikes, all the trophies. Until now. I won’t be buying the toy cars packs. $13? It’s just not worth it.

(And yes, it’s lame that Xbox gets it for $0.50 less than we do.)

I’ll probably buy at least one of the boost specials, and maybe cops and robbers, and almost definitely the island. But this one won’t be getting my money.

  • Still no PSx, and yet again, its really that hard for you add more then one thing a week.

The other guys don’t seem to have a problem actually releasing stuff. All we get is some cheap movie game that you know sucks.

  • For everyone saying that you want the Legends of Wrestlemania demo, trust me, you really, REALLY, don’t want to play it.

  • I’ll grab the HVB stuff. Not even going to try the WM demo. After the video and Live Blog I’ll stay away.
