Hello again!
The Online Beta for Killzone 2 is in full swing, and the floodgates have been opened for the press with their Online impressions. It’s been getting really good coverage so far, but there’s something very cool we’re happy to bring to you today. Later this afternoon, on GameSpot.com‘s “On the Spot” show, the hosts will be showcasing the latest Online Beta code live via Webcast. So if you haven’t had a chance to see a good impression of it yet, this is a great opportunity to go and check it out.
It’ll happen at 4pm (PST) this afternoon, so be sure to go catch it at http://www.gamespot.com/shows/on-the-spot/ if you get the chance. If you’ve got access to the beta, log on and take on GameSpot.

Memo to Gamespot, Killzone 2 does appear to have destructible environments, and those things that fly around in the air do look like vehicles. Now please update your less than glowing impressions of this game.

February cant come soon enough.
I am in the beta phase 2 and it looks like it’s going to be a great game, just add a little more power (or radius) to the granades and add the option to select Toggle or Hold while aiming ;)

Some of my friends in the clan that I belong to are in the Killzone 2 beta. They tell me that the multiplayer is quite fun. I wish that i had received a beta code too – but I was not one of the lucky ones. I’m very excited about being able to create my own unique character in the multiplayer by combining primary & secondary traits from the established 7 classes. I think that Saboteur/Scout would be fun because you could disguise yourself to look like the enemy plus also turn invisible.
The beta is insane. I cannot believe how incredible this game looks and runs.
What would make this even better is if you had a thing where the first 100-500 people who posts a comment on this post would get a beta key! I know, I am a pain in the rear!

Killzone 2 looks and plays fantastic judging from the coverage that this game received. I hope that I would be given the opportunity to partake in the beta..But if not February is right around the corner! I love FPS’s and Killzone looks like the next great iteration in the genre, I have no doubt this game will please me with its graphics and gameplay!
I’m disappointed about the lack of split screen, co op and party system on this game

I got into that Gamespot game and sniped Ryan MacDonald 3-4 times… but alas the segment finished just before I showed up.
Great fun tho! Shame I didn’t get to kill him live on the show!

I actually have the BETA and it’s pretty good. It reminds me a lot of COD 4 and that’s a good thing. Graphics look good

you guys should give the beta key since this is my second time i sent in my ps3, and had to pay $150 this week again……if im in the beta id be really happy…and that would really take my mind off things.

Awesome now lets start marketing this game like crazy. Movie Thaetres, T.V. and Superbowl ads. This game deserves it all. Cant wait to play this one.

I went into the beta with expectations that I honestly knew couldn’t be matched. That being said…THIS GAME WILL PWN ANYTHING YOU’VE SEEN TO THIS POINT IN TIME!

Killzone is amazing.
i got in. its awesome. i doubt the ranks earned in the beta will carry over to the retail version, so im not gonna play it excessively but its amazing
no buy for me is the game doesnt have
1. 4 player split-screen
2. Custom Soundtracks(Its time sony allow in game music universal like 360)
