One Last Thing on E3 2007…

180 2

It’s really hard to believe it has been a month since E3. The team here at SCEA is pretty much fully recovered at this point and is shifting gears to Leipzig and the Tokyo Game Show. Before we leave E3 2007 in the dust, however, we thought we would share one last thing.

FLV PLAYER

By now, you all have probably caught some part of our press conference, but you may not be aware of all the work that went into it. You guys seemed to have enjoyed the time lapse video we put together following our Gamer’s Day in May — so here’s another one from our press conference and our adjacent post-show arcade area at E3. Hope you enjoy it. Oh, and if you’re wondering what the glowing balls of light are in the arcade area, think ping pong balls…3,000 ping pong balls.

Seriously, just give Sony a break. Look at how hard they are working for us to bring us many games and experiences for our console. Nintendo just comes up with ideas for the casual gamer, and sits there counting money, and Microsoft just hands out dollars to 3rd parties and relys on Halo to succeed. Sony is working extremely hard to bring us exceptional, outstanding games on the PSN and at retail. Look at how many games there are for PS3 – about 55, and 120 by the end of the year. If you’re so hungry for content, stop waiting for the demo, go buy the game. August 28th we have Warhawk, September we have Lair, Heavenly Sword, November we have Socom, Uncharted, Ratchet, and so many others exclusive for our platform. Sony is working extremely hard to bring us great stuff, so give them a break, and play some games, instead of whining every single post.

  • @louicfer
Man thats not right at all. That being said, I thought it was funny as I don’t know what.

Sony’s PS3 is the best console. It is early in the dev cycle, however they need to be looking at lowering the price quickly. Its way to expensive for gamers who want to game only without the add ons. That is pivotal because those type of gamers out number the gamers that are fanboys like us.

I hear the rammering in the room saying that I’m whinning. I’m not whinning. But, if I’m whinning, then let me have a legitimate reason for whinning. I want Sony to do good. I’ve said this before. I’ve taking stock in Sony by buying a PS3.

Do you honestly think that I just spent 600 bucks for this system? Like many of you have done, I’ve spent over 1200 dollars at once for this system. Now that is blind faith, maybe even a little too much faith. My money when to 2 games, router, ethernet cord (they cost a fortune for gold plated ones), power supply, HD television and more. The crazy thing is that I don’t regret it. I like my PS3. But I think that the casual gamer is wanting a 360 before a PS3 for 600 bucks.

Someone commented that “whinning is not going to make them drop the price”. You maybe right. Whinning probably won’t help. I hope it does though because if my whinning don’t help (meaning our plea for a price drop), then the 3rd parties will start to whine. If they whine, then the games whine. If the games whine, then the pockets of the public whines. If those whine, then stocks whine. When stocks whine, then I know Sony will whine because the loses will be through the roof. Making the old negro proverb true, “A hard head makes a soft behind”. Get that PS3 under 300 bucks. The market commands it.

  • @awheaten

I hear what you are saying, yet I do not think a price drop is in order. You commented on the “extras”. First Blu-ray is needed for games; it is not just a movie format. The PGR4 devs have stated that they needed more room on the DVD, so they could have day and night racing. Also 3rd party devs are asking Microsoft to use the HDD due to lack of storage space. So blu-ray and hdd are a necessity not an extra. As for wi-fi if you have high speed internet, most providers give you a router when you sign up for service, and I am not running a 50+ ft cable form one end of my house to the other. I think the PS3 is a great value and investment. The 360 on the other hand is an ok purchase then it hits you up for more and more cash down the road.
If the students at Indiana University Southeast or people in general cant see past a $279.99 price point and ask questions like “why is this so cheep?” then our universities should step up there economics and math programs. I went to a community collage and saw threw Microsoft’s BS.
If your friends want 360 games Halo 3 is really the only “big exclusive” not coming to PC or the PS3. I really don’t think the PS3 needs a price cut, but I do think some better marketing is in order to promote the value of the PS3 over getting ripped of in the long run when buying a 360.

  • Oh, I am also not willing to have my gaming experiences compromised by a stripped down PS3. Sony is giving devs all the tools they need to have creative freedom with out restrictions. The 360 will kill its self. Rings of death (I was a victim and sold that POS a month before the 3 came out) new chip sets, the $60 games it eats, limited storage space for games and downloads, HDMI coming late, the list goes on and on. We are talking about a 140 million console plus industry/ market the 360 won’t see past 35 million. Peter Moore has been quoted as saying so himself.

  • @wheaten
I think everyone would love the ps3 under 400 dollars but if the Psp is any example… it’s not going to happen soon. The Ds and the Psp had the same issue of quality versus price and the Ds won out.

Or did it? The Ds obviously sold more but the psp did good business and is selling consistently more and more as the price slowly slides down. Unfortuanately the whole process was gradual and only now are the two getting close in cost. Funny that at this point someone has come out with a Nds emulator for the psp.

Not an identical situation but i could see Sony trying to mirror the strategy.

@40cal You got rid of your 360? i’m not sure if i’d do the same given the opportunity. I’m very unhappy with mine but I am playing Lost Planet right now (between crashes). Unfortuantely Microsoft has the money to throw at designers and besides halo there are some other 360 only titles that look good to me. Too human, Mass Effect, Dead Island (sigh. zombie fun) Alan Wake (mia)

I never would’ve bought the buggy pos if i’d heard about the Red Rings before i got it. Yet the damn thing is still selling despite the fact that it’s a 1 in 3 chance of getting a dud. How can you argue with people who ignore numbers like that?

Oh and am i the only one here who imagines Loucifer as one of those profanity screaming guys who sits in parks throwing condoms at pigeons?

    just me then. Nevermind.

  • @roadclimber

“Oh and am i the only one here who imagines Loucifer as one of those profanity screaming guys who sits in parks throwing condoms at pigeons?”

ok that was funny actually :) but i would never hurt an animal like that

  • @awheaten

LOL…i didnt say it was right…but it is hilarious!!!

    @aaquib

“Microsoft just hands out dollars to 3rd parties and relys on Halo to succeed”

And successful they are!…do you see Sony tossing bills to 3rd party devs? how bout marketing sponsors like Burger King backin up Halo…do you see anyone doing that for a Sony game?? so bottom line the PS3 has been hyped up beyond belief and hasnt delivered anything! actually i take that back Sony managed to lose exclusive rights so they did deliver something…its called bad news…How bout Surf’s up thats a Sony movie and yet Xbox has a demo for the sissy game…thought that was Ironic being a Sony Movie and yet Sony’s PS3 cant even have a demo of it

as for the future titles…well i’ve BEEN waiting since last year when i bought the system at launch…sorry for not wanting to wait anymore…do you think i enjoy sitting here complaining???…i’d rather waste my energy on a good game…and yet here i am on a saturday night the PS3 off cuz im tired of playing the same old games over and over again…beating RB6 3 times is not fun anymore…playing GRAW2 demo over and over again…Darkness beatin twice…Grand Turismo demo just makes my eyes cross at this point and well a yrs worth of resistance has me wanting to break something and well FEAR is getting traded in 2morrow not to mention the games i already traded in (motostorm, MLB2k7)…MY PS3 IS COLLECTING DUST NOW!!!!!

  • I dont think i ask for much…i just want to use my game system that i spent ALOT of $ on to play some games…not watch trailers about what the future holds or of a show that i will never attend that people who do attend get to play the demos for the games being HYPED up and yet Sony wont release on the PSN for us to enjoy…the demos are out there!!!!!!

people are playing them at these events…why wont they give them to us???????????????????????

  • That myspace PS3 song vid mentioned none of the XB[DELETED]360s defects only a bunch of crap about the PS3.Just to let em’ know Sony stomps everything with everything they make.
So what does the playstion 3 offer the xbox360
doesn’t……..A FUTURE.Sony is smart think about it
the PSP just got full clock speed for better games. That same PSP just got better.Microsoft wanted a sooner release.Sony wanted a FUTURE.
Think about it, all the money sony spent on the technology(a cell processer”that even the military had get their hands on”,Blu-Ray,graphics card,SIXAXIS,and a whole lot more they probably haven’t told us about). One day they’ll tell us their releasing Wheels as an add on,as it turns out our PS3s are eco-friendly automobiles. So “BUCKLE UP”.

  • Wrote my best comment ever and it didn’t take it.Probably because of what I called the 360.My bad,it was good too.

  • Great E3 setup equals great E3 results!

  • Cool music to complement a cool video. Its always interesting to see how those stages are setup.

And its nice to see or hear that our “corporate” guy doesn’t have to wear a suit. What a laid back company, heh.

  • I wonder what the ‘Fireworks’ we all read about are going to be at Leipzig … sounds intense, I hope we fans aren’t getting overhyped.

  • Off topic but since this is the latest thread:

We were talking about (on another forum) how Sony could improve awareness of the PS3 features (after a revealing NPD survey). Why not have pre-installed instructional videos on the PS3 hdd?
    – ‘Photo introduction’
    – ‘Video introduction’
    – ‘Music introduction’
    – ‘HDTV introduction’
    – ‘PS Store introduction’
    – ‘Home introduction’
    – ‘Upcoming games’
    …etc

This should be relatively easily done and I think it would do a lot of good to newcomers.

  • @40cal

I think we can agree to disagree. Though I’m with you as far as blueRay is concern. More space means better graphics and gameplay.

I don’t think wifi is needed though its nice. Also all those USB ports aren’t needed either. How many of us in this room use over 4 of those ports? Like it or not, the PS3 has alot of unused devices that will not be used for this generation of gaming, though its nice to have and show off to your friends.

But I’m madd though, your service provider gives you a wireless router. Ours gives us just a modem and a bill.

Back to the topic. I understand what you’re talking about. However, I think my point prevails because your saying that people actually use half of the features of the PS3. Thats not true at all. Most people don’t even know how all that stuff works. I know thats true look at the Wii. All it is is just a videogame medium with a ethernet port. And guess what, most people who have a Wii don’t even use it for online purposes. I don’t even think you can play Massive Mulit player Online Games with that system (I could be wrong though). And look at it, it is killing Xbox360 and PS3 (in Japan and NA which are the only countries that count for real because of its install base). So, that tells me that most people looking to play games w/o all the extras and addons. Heck, if we took a vote in this room and we asked how many use their PS3’s wifi capabilities or all the USB ports that it has, it would probably a low ratio like 1 out of 5 or something. Now how about that for some economics.

All I’m saying is that I think the PS3 is looking at a down Christmas because the fans finally have a chance at buying a affordable true next gen console at 279. They don’t care about the space that it has or don’t have or all that technical stuff. If they did, people would buy PS3 that cost 600 dollars instead of a Dell that cost about 800 (that price is given that its high end or not). But in the end, it is a game machine. A game machine that cost 600 dollars vrs game machines that cost 279 and 250 (Wii and Xbox) of whom have better games at this point. You will see this holiday season.

The fans has validated that IU eduacation that you have ridiculed. Speaking of my beloved school, of which I’m about to graduate from. Most of the best mathematicians and Logicians graduated from IU. And, IUS specifically has one of the top business school in the world. Look if up fella.

  • @roadclimber
If your right and Sony goes the way of the PSP pricing system, then Sony is settling for third place in the gaming industry. Which, by the way, I don’t think is true. Its not the Sony way to play second fiddle to anyone.

  • One more comment @40cal. Because PGR4 devs can’t use day and night function in a game, how did you deduce that a Hard drive is needed?

    Just a question.

I personally don’t think hard drive in videogame is absolutly essential. Because I’ll I use my hard drive for is demos, and videos on PSN. They don’t help out with like Resistence (excluding the patch from the dev because that was for online play) and NBA 2K7. Though at one time I would have agreed with you.

  • Sony has to try alot harder to compet with the xbox 360 preadim and elite.. becouse like the warlock thing sony took the credit for wut xbox like already did and i bet it wont be as good as the 360 eather.

just a question… will you be able to view another persons gamer name and games and everything like that… also acheivments.

I think sony put more time and money for the looks of the outside if the ps3 that wut they put in it… THE PS3 IS JUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @sd bmxer

“I think sony put more time and money for the looks of the outside if the ps3 that wut they put in it… THE PS3 IS JUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Dude you make a great point and i agree BUT!!! i DO NOT agree with PS3 being junk…the company that made it is a whole different ball game for the way the systems has been marketed(hyped), sold, handled and neglected…but bottom line i’ll say this again…PS3 is a far more superior piece of equipment then the 360

but even pieces of S**T will sell with the right accessories, games and advertising…how many PS3 commercials have you been seeing on TV??…NONE! they cant sell a system with not much game selection…or firmware that doesnt do what the company said the system was capable of doing…this is MY point…what the hell is SONY waiting for??

  • @RoAcH2285

I hate when that happens…LOL…happens to me alot…or when you go to the “CONTACT US” email and it tells you over and over and over and over again that your msg is invalid or the stupid security thing is wrong…I guess the BLOG is waiting for a firmware update also…LOL

  • @ Loucifer

wut would you rather have a coucle witch is far more superior with a 120G hard drive and the hottest games in the market or would you have a $500 councle and getten board of the same games over and over again.

And the 360 does not need be on tv for just the councle… marcosoft in in the lead by 2 360 to 1 ps3 that y.

  • just cheak out “www.xbox.com” if you want to read wut the 360 is capable of doing

  • sd bmxer why are you posting on the playstation blog if your love your xbox 1.5 so much? Go get ripped off by MS and get off these forums.

  • sd bmxer
YOU CAN REPLACE THE PS3 HARD DRIVE WITH A 300GB SO SHUT UP. YOU ARE PAYING FOR POPREITARY STUFF. How much is the 120GB HDD? $150+? How much ca you go get a 200GB at newegg that goes in the PS3? $150 And how are you supposed to even play games with a RROD? With that last sentence: What? I leave folding on for four days without the TV on, what you talking about?
And don’t tell me you would get board of Resistance Warhawk Lair and Heavenly Sword.

  • @ 40cal PREACH ON MAN, PREACH ON. Halo 3 didn’t look to good at E3, and you lose Peter Moore. Everybody does know the 360 suffered a 60% sales loss in July right? heres the link.
    http://www.informationweek.com/news/showArticle.jhtml?articleID=201200157
Just wait and see what the NPD numbers for July are.

  • Best Buy and Circuit City are both advertising Lair as being available this Wednesday by 2pm. Is the game coming out on time after all or did Sony forget to tell all of their retail connections that the game had been delayed?

  • Potential Customer

I’m pulling for Sony to get their act together. As I said on another thread, I’ve got until 11/30/07 to purchase a PS3 for $350 from Sonystyle.com with a new Sony card. A blu-ray player to go with my 60″ Sony tv would be nice. But, honestly the game line-up leaves a lot to be desired. Even at that price, I expect games and demos to go along trailers and press conferences.

I really want an 80 gig, but $450 to me is not worth 20 extra gigs and Mortorstorm. Kotaku is rumoring a 360 pro HDMI packed with Forza 2 and Marvel Alliance. Your move Sony! That might could sway me to invest in a piece of garbage if the price is right.

I consider myself unbiased in this console war. To me, the future software available for the 360, especially considering recent ports, INCLUDING THE RUMOR OF MADDEN, that run better on 360 is a far better lineup than Sony currently has in store. And yes, Halo 3 does weigh heavily on my opinion of the lineup being far better.

I’ve always been an early adoptor when I had far less disposable income and much more time on my hands to play games. I can remember pinching pennies eagerly awaiting 9/9/95. There was a lot of hype, but nothing prepared me for the mind blowing games I’d be playing on my TV. That’s the Sony I want to invest in.

  • @sd bmxer

    xbox 360 sucks

2 years and only one good game

    gears of war

  • I sadly agree with AssassinXIII.

Gears of War was the only real original next gen IP MS has put out yet, and it was too short for me to care about buying a system for it.

Yet the PS3’s launch titles weren’t so shabby. I still hit up Resistance, just for kicks.

  • @Dave

    Thanks

  • @ Potential Customer
You want a 360? i’ll sell you mine… cheap :) don’t mind the dents in it.. that’s just from frustrated kicking. It still works exactly like it did when i first bought it.

Seriously though, if you plan on buying a 360 then there’s only one choice. The Elite is the only way you’re going to be certain to avoid the red ring. Apparently they’ve finally fixed the problem and the newly released elite doesn’t die.

    @awheaten
I heard something along the same lines about Pgr needing more space but the designers quickly said ” no no no.. we’re not compromising the game “. That’s to be expected from a company designing for Microsoft. What did you expect? ” Yeah we had to sacrifice a couple features because the damn Dvd is too small. ” ANyway. Rage will definitely have an issue with space. They’ve already said it will span 2 dvds or 1 bluray.

You’re right about a Hard Drive not being Essential but it definitely does help. Ninja Gaiden gives the option of loading to the HD to improve the game experience. I’m sure that’s not the only one but so far that’s the only one i’ve seen.

    @ Loucifer
Nice :) glad to see you can take a joke

    @ Sd Bmxer
I’m curious as to why Microsoft hasn’t incorporated a F@h into their console as well. Is it because they’re afraid of what will happen when they push their system for long periods of time? I’m not going to argue about which system is more powerful but if you look at what you’re getting for your money.. the PS offers more. Whats your take on how many 360s are dying? MS’s system is like buying a sweet bike and cracking the frame over and over again.

AS to 360 exclusives… So far Dead Rising has been the only one i’ve really loved. Gears was pretty but really had only a couple innovations. Hitting cover and timed reload. The rest of it was pretty standard progressively increasing difficulty + weapons with the mandatory driving section. Half Life 2 was MUCH better. Add to that the feeble multiplayer and short campaign and the game isn’t much. Pretty but generic.

Dead Rising was genuinely original. Fun game play and enough diversity to encourage running through it a couple times. Not to mention running over mobs of zombies with an industrial strength lawnmower.

Halo 3? like it or hate it.. it will do well. They’ve already had 1 million+ preorders so even if it sucks (which i doubt) they’re going to make barrels on it.

  • Love all the hard work you guys put in. Sony is top notch. I also think that anyone who works for Sony should take a look at this video. It is very informative. It’s the latest episode of the bonus round.

    http://gametrailer.com/bonusround.php?ep=9&pt=2

  • The cell processor in the PS3 alone beats the 360.The Military now uses sonys cell processor to fight terrorism. And I know the military only uses the best. Its better than the processors in top computers.Dual core……shoot we got Eight son.

    @ roadclimber

The elite has not been out long enough to have proven more reliable. Putting an HDMI in a pro system makes the elite obsolete IMO for just a black color and more storage.

Sony did make their machine right the first time.

  • @I_Love_New_York

I don’t know about Sony, but I rather enjoyed that link. I kind of agree with some of the opinions. But I say that the Wii will aventually fad out with the PS3. I agree with what Sony said about them: it is a gimmic machine. They’re never going to get third party support. Also, games like WarHawk, Halo3, and Unreal Tournament are taking off as well.

If I can make a prediction: Online play is going to dominate the way arcades dominated. Its going to be a market onto itself. (Here comes that word I had) This is where Sony has done a good job making the console (euhh) future proof. Giving developers space to create content of their wildest imaginations.

    @ roadclimber
Hey are you telling me that Xbox360 still uses DVD? Wow I didn’t know that. I thought they used HD DVDs.
However, Sony will be lost in the cold this holiday season, if they don’t lower the price to at least under 400 dollars.

  • I have to say, this summer has been a difficult one. As the selection for all systems, especially the PS3, was a tad weak, it’s been a tough time being a gamer. The latest delay in Lair’s release all but put the stake in the hearts of the perennial gamers from the Sony camp. However, I, as a PS3 owner, have felt some lingering sense of vindication in my faith that, given time, the Sony brand name would inevitably prove all its critics wrong.
That the $600 price tag was worth it. That good games would come sooner rather later. And, all the haters of the Sony brandname would, somehow, come to the inevitable fact that the PS3 is, if not the best, a superior entertainment console. But faith without results can only carry you so far. In fact, what I have come to realize is that all Sony has engineered so far is its ability to promise, to engender a sense of optimism and hope in the consumer base. The Sony fanboys are all out there in force. But why?
My distaste for all things Microsoft, and my nostalgic love for my videogame past with the PS1 and PS2, made it easy for me to choose the PS3 as the console I would choose for the next-gen experience. But, as of late, I have to ask why? For Killzone II, a game they showed at E3 over a year ago? Besides the inglorious complaints of the pre-rendered footage, only of late has the public seen a glimpse of it. And although it certainly looks great, we still have another 6 or so months until its release. Will the wait have been worth it? Gears of War will have been a year and a half old by then and this seems to be what others are drawing in its comparison. This, or Halo 3; which, by all estimates, will be the number one selling game of all time. There will be no doubt its online component will be far superior as X-box Live is unanimously agreed to be the standard of excellence in the online gaming community. Halo 3 will obviously continue that standard.
What else is there just over the horizon? Lair? A game that has not only been pushed back but roundly trounced by reviewers? I know that that there has been some confusion over unfinished builds or incomplete demos and that only a handful of reviews have even seen the light of day, but the vibe that’s going out is not good. Neither is the vibe altogether superior for Heavenly Sword. Sure, for the few who have played it it stands as a very good game. I loved the demo and have played it myself several times. But does it stand up to the buzz surrounding Mass Effect? Or Bioshock? Let alone Halo 3?
I think what finally pushed me over the edge was the latest set of reviews for Madden ’08. The reviews for the PS3 version have been scoring significantly lower than the 360 version. And although I thought I’d be used to it by now (for this has been going on for all multiplatform titles, all year) I am not. In fact, I’ve just about had it. The PS3 has been out nearly a year and “the most powerful “of the next-gen gaming consoles produces the less than perfect version of the next-gen gaming experience? The PS3 has no real groundbreaking game coming out for another 7or 8 months and for all its vaunted abilities you still can’t play online Youtube videos.
The future for Sony seems bright. There appears to be some interesting IP’s coming down the pike. But it’s always the future. At some point the future has to be now.

  • AWESOME news can’t wait for LEIPZEG and Tokyo Game Show …WE as a community love this new interaction we finally actually get now LONG LIVE PLAYSTATION COMMUNITY and the PS3

  • @dubbedinenglish — We aren’t planning attending E for All at this time. More focused on the big international shows right now.

@RobinNL — The press conference won’t be in HD on our store but I believe you can find it on GameSpot in HD.

@MatthewG — No plans right now to make the PS3 a backup hard drive/server for your PC, but you can access your PC files through the PS3 using DLNA.

  • @Spanky

Excellent write up! I couldn’t agree more!

  • OMG!!! I just read in an article that if you leave a ps3 on for an entire week it wont OVERHEAT!!!!!! Or break.

  • @Dave
I’ve tried but I can’t access my PC files through the PS3 using DLNA.I try the find media server feature on my PS3 but it doesn’t find my PC.Is there a computer program I need or something.Any help is much appreciated.THANKS.

  • I found out EA screwed the PS3 again,1up said the 360 runs “madden 08” at 60fps but only 30fps on the PS3.What the hell!I pre-ordered 08 hoping EA would do their best for PS3.Now I know why all the madden commercials end with the 360 logo.Since when did the video game industry start resembling the mafia.I guess Sonys the goodfellas.

  • @ Dave Karraker:

Now that the PS3 has been out for 3 months, when can we expect to see the PSN match the content offered on the Other Console?

-Will the XMB-in game be a reality this month?
-Can we expect to see Voice Chat on games as a standard?
-Will Third Party Developers get the support they need to make PS3 games run flawlessly?

I know you’ve seen tons of these questions, but these are the questions I was hoping the blog would be answering. I do think that some of the posts are interesting and informative, but they are avoiding the main issues and concerns the community has. Owning both systems and trying to pull keep myself contained or happy with the state of the PS3 is difficult with the constant lack of information with the major issues. I just don’t get who over there is making the decisions that puts the PS3 or playstation products in such a bad spot.

    PSP:
    – What reason is it that SCEA is the on division of Sony to hold back on the all the available colors made available in the UK and Japan?
    – Why the slow release of PS1 titles?
    – Why the lack of a PSP Store for so long?

These are the questions I would love to see answered on this blog or directly answered to my post.

I’ve been strong Playstation consumer and the choices made in the past and the ones being made do not seem to be in favor of keeping customers. It almost seems like you have this idea that if someone is doing something right and you do something simliar it’s like admiting defeat.

Either way your road map seems to be as of now about to pass the point of better late than never.

It’s time for the company to open up to the public about the questions we want information on, and not just talk for the sake of talking and the illusion giving the fans what they want. You’re missing the mark, you’re doing good for what you’ve set out to do, but you’re not doing what the fans need you to do and if we’re not the ones you’re trying to satisfy …. then I don’t know what to say.

  • Hmm, this thread seems to have strayed very far from the topic. Anyway, great E3, guys. Looking forward to Leipzig and TGS.

  • I think it’s more like these topics are not on point with what they need to be talking about.

  • @kenji

“Now that the PS3 has been out for 3 months”

dude you do realize the PS3 is out almost a year now??? why do you think i get bent?? out basically a yr and still no game that wows me…just thought i’d throw that out there..

  • @ kenji,

Even though this is not the correct spot to post your comments, you hve very valid points.

“Better late than never” very soon will not keep me waiting much longer. Sad to say that after PS1, (3) PS2, PSP, and now PS3. In short waiting for all these promises are just gettin old. I normally look at this situation in positive light, but I can only do so for so long

Anyway, I like this time vid, I hape we can get some video on the Liepzig content also!

  • Okay, the no games thing is old. There are plenty games out now in various genres that are worth owning, and starting next week with GRAW2, steady releases will keep coming. Please stop whining… the same thing happened with the PS2, it was very slow its first year.
